3 - Taroko（太魯閣）
The famous national park became very dear to me over my year in Hualien. For a time, I was making trips there every weekend to marvel at the grandeur of the steep rocky cliffs stretching thousands of feet above, and the furious gray river flowing beneath. So many special spots -- the lovely emerald waters of Shakadang, the peaceful mountain village of Dali, the exhilarating Zhuilu Road, the cute little town of Tianxiang, to name a few. Taroko has given me many good memories.
